Serve as an embedded, mixed-methods experience researcher within a product pod, scoping and running qualitative and quantitative studies end to end—from discovery through usability tests and in-product surveys. Champion the needs of pros on the platform, work effectively in ambiguity, and use AI fluently across synthesis, analysis, and reporting. Synthesize trustworthy insights into presentations that influence product direction.

Key Responsibilities

•Independently scope and run mixed-method studies (exploratory work through usability tests and in-product surveys) within a product area.
•Build a deep understanding of pros and the tools they need to run successful businesses.
•Move quickly in ambiguity by turning loose problem spaces into clear research questions, plans, and study designs.
•Use AI across the research lifecycle for synthesis, analysis, instrument/guide drafting, and reporting; build lightweight AI artifacts that speed learning and evaluate outputs for accuracy and bias.
•Partner with product, design, engineering, and data science; synthesize findings into compelling stories through reports and presentations that drive product decisions.

Key Requirements

•5+ years in applied research roles with a degree in a behavioral or social science field (or equivalent practical experience).
•Advanced understanding of both qualitative and quantitative methods, including designing and running studies end to end (interviews, usability studies, surveys, concept testing).
•Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative data, including basic statistical analysis and using research tools such as Qualtrics, dscout, Sprig, or Rally.
•Proficiency with SQL or other data-querying skills (a plus).
•Demonstrated hands-on use of AI to accelerate and scale research, with critical judgment to evaluate accuracy and bias; ability to build lightweight AI tooling (e.g., agents, workflows, prototypes).
