Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver EIAs/ESIAs and support environmental authorisation processes.
  • •Lead and support local and international environmental and social assessment projects for large/complex infrastructure and mining projects.
  • •Support environmental and social due diligence, including technical reviews, risk assessments, regulatory reviews, and gap analyses.
  • •Manage projects, budgets, schedules, deliverables, resources, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary specialist teams.
  • •Lead stakeholder engagement and public participation, manage client relationships, and prepare technical reports, proposals, and presentations.

Key Requirements

  • •Master's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, or a related discipline.
  • •6 to 10 years of relevant experience in environmental consulting.
  • •Demonstrated experience conducting EIAs and/or ESIAs in South Africa.
  • •Experience on large and/or complex infrastructure and/or mining projects.
  • •Professional registration (or eligibility) with EAPASA, SACNASP, or equivalent.
