Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as a team lead, project manager and/or discipline lead on planning studies, preliminary design studies, and final design for BRT projects.
  • •Oversee multidisciplinary teams to prepare engineering calculations, drawings, visual aids, and technical specification sections for BRT infrastructure.
  • •Prepare and/or review multimodal street design and participate in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
  • •Develop construction cost estimates and engineering effort estimates, including budget and schedule input.
  • •Conduct quality control reviews of design calculations and drawings, and provide leadership and mentorship to entry-level engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering plus 8 years of relevant experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •Professional Engineering license.
  • •Proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil 3D or Microstation/Power InRoads or Power GeoPak or OpenRoads Designer (ORD).
  • •Roadway design experience, including Bus Rapid Transit and/or Light Rail Transit (LRT) design experience.
  • •Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required.
