Job Summary

Perform electrical installation, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting for machinery and equipment to keep downtime low and comply with EHS guidelines. Respond to electrical breakdowns (e.g., motors, switchboards, MCCs, transformers, UPS, VFDs), execute planned preventive/predictive maintenance, and use SAP for spare parts ordering and maintenance records. Diagnose failures, monitor recurring issues, support trainees and contractors, and drive continuous improvement through initiatives like 5S.

Key Responsibilities

•Attend to electrical equipment breakdowns such as LV-MV motors, switchboards, MCCs, plant lighting, transformers, UPS, VFDs, breakers, and soft starters.
•Carry out planned preventive and predictive maintenance with minimum direction and supervision.
•Identify and report abnormalities; repair, replace, re-assemble, and test equipment while keeping the area clean.
•Diagnose electrical breakdowns/failures and troubleshoot plant and equipment problems with minimum or no direction.
•Use the computerized maintenance system (SAP) to order spare parts and maintain records of completed maintenance work.

Key Requirements

•Diploma in a relevant field.
•Completion of PEC Craft Training.
•3 years of relevant experience in a heavy industry after Diploma.
•A good knowledge of written and spoken English.
•Experience in installation and troubleshooting; able to read engineering drawings/manuals/instructions.
