Job Summary

Lead the planning, coordination, execution, and reporting of full system-level test and evaluation for autonomous maritime capabilities. Own shore and sea-based developmental testing, drive design maturation, investigate initial issues, and implement corrective actions and process improvements. Coordinate integration of sensors, communications, and autonomy software, oversee test documentation and data analysis, and work with program leadership and cross-functional teams to establish requirements, gates, and milestones across the test lifecycle.

•Own, plan, and execute full system-level T&E for hardware and software with emphasis on driving design maturation fast.
•Conduct shore- and sea-based testing, perform initial issue investigation, root cause, corrective action, and process improvement/development.
•Assist integration of subsystems (sensors, communication systems, autonomy software) into an underwater sensor product.
•Provide technical guidance to Field Operations on test authority, task assignment, and event scheduling; implement and maintain test documentation processes.
•Lead testing efforts at private and government-owned test ranges; oversee test data collection and perform initial data analysis; work with program leadership to set requirements, campaign schedule/progress, gates, milestones, and improvements.

Travel: Medium travel

Salary: USD 112,000 - 149,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline (or equivalent engineering experience).
•4+ years of experience in systems engineering, integration, and testing.
•4+ years as a lead test conductor/test director for developmental systems on manned and/or unmanned sea-craft, including requirements development, test planning/execution, and test reporting.
•Ability to quickly learn new concepts and organize/schedule/coordinate work phases to solve complex technical problems.
•Strong computer and documentation experience, including Linux, command line interfaces, and software debugging.
