Key Responsibilities

  • •Own, plan, and execute full system-level T&E for hardware and software with emphasis on driving design maturation fast.
  • •Conduct shore- and sea-based testing, perform initial issue investigation, root cause, corrective action, and process improvement/development.
  • •Assist integration of subsystems (sensors, communication systems, autonomy software) into an underwater sensor product.
  • •Provide technical guidance to Field Operations on test authority, task assignment, and event scheduling; implement and maintain test documentation processes.
  • •Lead testing efforts at private and government-owned test ranges; oversee test data collection and perform initial data analysis; work with program leadership to set requirements, campaign schedule/progress, gates, milestones, and improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline (or equivalent engineering experience).
  • •4+ years of experience in systems engineering, integration, and testing.
  • •4+ years as a lead test conductor/test director for developmental systems on manned and/or unmanned sea-craft, including requirements development, test planning/execution, and test reporting.
  • •Ability to quickly learn new concepts and organize/schedule/coordinate work phases to solve complex technical problems.
  • •Strong computer and documentation experience, including Linux, command line interfaces, and software debugging.
