Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with engineering partners to translate requirements into functional and technical solutions with the Engineer Systems team.
  • •Provide training and support during and after implementation to drive user adoption of engineering systems.
  • •Lead development and implementation of new PLM features, defining scope, requirements, timelines, and budgets.
  • •Collaborate with developers to diagnose and resolve issues, bugs, and enhancement requests across PLM and integrations with CAD and related systems.
  • •Manage PLM upgrades and modules, coordinating vendor/third-party providers and ensuring engineering data management complies with DSGL/DTC Act export control obligations, including access control and data segregation.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years installing, developing, implementing, upgrading, and maintaining engineering systems (PLM, CAD, CAE, SysML, etc.), or 5+ years as a systems administrator/engineer in Defence or a highly regulated environment willing to specialize.
  • •Understanding of CAD/CAM/CAE systems and how they integrate with PLM solutions.
  • •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to root-cause end-user and infrastructure issues.
  • •Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
  • •Knowledge of Windows and Linux systems and software installations; must be an Australian citizen and eligible to obtain an NV2 clearance.
