Key Responsibilities

  • •Own financial analysis projects end-to-end, from definition and solution to implementation for R&D initiatives and existing products/businesses.
  • •Partner with cross-functional leaders to translate engineering problems into quantitative measures and partial solutions with a financial lens.
  • •Build detailed financial models and P&L models for products, business lines, divisions, and acquisitions; present materials to stakeholders.
  • •Establish cost transparency and build frameworks to set material cost targets, including value-engineering approaches.
  • •Collaborate with Engineering and Supply Chain to develop and implement cost reduction roadmaps and run financially oriented “red-team” engineering plans.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in manufacturing finance, engineering finance, or a finance role at a high-growth hardware company.
  • •Strong understanding of financial and accounting concepts.
  • •Strong analytical aptitude and ability to quantify complex, often ambiguous problems in numbers.
  • •Ability to quickly execute analyses in Excel.
  • •Willingness to use corporate systems (Salesforce, Coupa, Anaplan) and analytic/dashboard tools (Palantir Foundry), and communicate with broad audiences.
  • •Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities.
