Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain and update system facility records, maps, sketches, and working designs in GIS and/or CAD software.
  • •Update existing maps, drawings, and databases to reflect additions, removals, and other changes to land bases and pipeline facilities.
  • •Prepare maps, graphics, charts, and other visual aids to facilitate communications.
  • •Maintain a library of maps and related databases, including maps obtained from various sources.
  • •Organize and maintain detailed records and files using computer programs; may assist with training, quality control, and GIS application/process development.

Key Requirements

  • •Associates degree in GIS, Computer Drafting, or related field.
  • •Two years of related experience, or equivalent.
  • •Knowledge of computer drafting and software applications to create complex documents, reports, and graphics.
  • •Ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers to explain technical concepts.
  • •Ability to perform algebraic, trigonometric, and geometric operations and moderately complex statistical or accounting methods.
