Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and build ELT/ETL pipelines across the Microsoft stack—from on-prem SSIS to Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric.
  • •Model and maintain semantic layers in Power BI (DAX, RLS, deployment pipelines, Apps) for the single source of truth.
  • •Migrate and modernise BI environments: SQL Server → Synapse Analytics / Microsoft Fabric / ADLS Gen2 / OneLake.
  • •Implement Analytics Engineering standards: data testing, documentation, version control, and performance tuning (T-SQL, stored procedures).
  • •Support clients in defining their data modeling strategy (Kimball / Inmon) and analytical architecture; prototype and evaluate emerging capabilities (Copilot Studio, Azure AI Services) and translate to production-ready recommendations.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 3 years of hands-on experience.
  • •T-SQL (optimization, stored procedures, functions).
  • •Power BI Desktop and Service (DAX, RLS, Apps).
  • •Data warehousing: proficiency in modeling concepts (Kimball/Inmon).
  • •On-Prem stack: SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS; Cloud stack: Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric.
