Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop secure multi-tenant, cloud-native storage solutions for performance and high availability (including failover and zero downtime).
  • •Implement and operate production-ready applications in Rust, including oncall responsibilities.
  • •Diagnose test failures and performance regressions, and implement fixes.
  • •Lead development and project management for large, cross-team initiatives and new Storage Layer Services features.
  • •Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering leadership to define product roadmaps and support operational excellence.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum of 5 years of experience programming, debugging, and performance tuning distributed and/or highly concurrent software systems.
  • •Strong systems fundamentals, including multi-threaded programming and performance profiling.
  • •Experience building, deploying, and operating multi-tenant cloud services with operational excellence.
  • •Familiarity with database internals or building core components for data processing systems.
  • •Hands-on development of performance-sensitive software, preferably using Rust or C/C++ with large backend/compiled codebases.
