Job Summary

Support integration and lead testing for Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) on a maritime team. You’ll develop and execute comprehensive test plans, author and review operational test reports, and participate in design reviews and system verification planning. In field and offshore environments, you’ll run pre/post-mission test operations, troubleshoot and maintain AUV systems, set up and refine operational metrics, and support multi-week demonstration test events.

•Drive development, review, and execution of comprehensive test plans for development, integration, and acceptance testing.
•Author and/or review operational test reports documenting internal and customer-facing AUV platform and capability testing.
•Build, support, and maintain a test and evaluation program, potentially subject to Government test and evaluation standards.
•Support day-to-day test operations including pre-mission testing, launch and recovery, vehicle tasking, and data analysis.
•Support integration of subsystems (sensors, navigation, propulsion, communications, autonomy software, and power) and perform hands-on troubleshooting, repair, operation, and maintenance in the field.

Travel: Medium travel

Salary: USD 112,000 - 149,000 annually

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience in systems engineering, integration, and test in an operational environment.
•Generate TRRs, test plans, test procedures, and test reports for development, integration, and acceptance testing.
•Hands-on familiarity with mechanical, electrical, and software development concepts.
•Knowledge of electronics troubleshooting and ability to use basic test equipment.
•Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance and travel up to 10% (potentially 25% during key test campaigns).
