Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the Group Public Affairs workstream on UK retail banking public policy and legislative issues.
  • •Track and analyse political and policy developments across the UK consumer agenda, anticipating impacts on the bank and customers.
  • •Develop and own policy positions and translate them into a structured senior-leader engagement programme.
  • •Produce high-quality, strategic briefings that equip senior leaders for political engagement aligned with wider bank priorities.
  • •Represent the bank externally with policymakers, politicians and trade associations, communicating a balanced narrative to UK and Group leadership.
