Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical advice, plan and oversee bat surveys across diverse schemes linked to decarbonisation and energy transition
  • •Act as bat lead on onshore windfarm projects and energy infrastructure upgrades
  • •Oversee generic and specialist bat surveys and contribute to deliverables
  • •Prepare tenders for a range of schemes and input into EcIAs, EIAs, HRAs and licence applications
  • •Client liaison and project management, mentoring and training to the wider team

Key Requirements

  • •Holding a NatureScot bat licence (or actively working towards it)
  • •Experience in carrying out and/or managing bat surveys across diverse habitats and schemes

  • •Experience in report writing, with level of experience depending on seniority
  • •Experience in development licensing applications
