Key Responsibilities

•Provide technical advice, plan and oversee bat surveys across diverse schemes linked to decarbonisation and energy transition
•Act as bat lead on onshore windfarm projects and energy infrastructure upgrades
•Oversee generic and specialist bat surveys and contribute to deliverables
•Prepare tenders for a range of schemes and input into EcIAs, EIAs, HRAs and licence applications
•Client liaison and project management, mentoring and training to the wider team

Key Requirements

•Holding a NatureScot bat licence (or actively working towards it)
•Experience in carrying out and/or managing bat surveys across diverse habitats and schemes
•Experience in bat call analysis, data management and interpretation of field survey data
•Experience in report writing, with level of experience depending on seniority
•Experience in development licensing applications
