Job Summary

Own the end-to-end workplace experience for the Sydney office, ensuring it’s safe, well run, and reflects Airwallex’s culture. Balance hands-on office operations with project work across space expansions and reconfigurations. Lead social, wellbeing, educational, and CSR events, manage vendors and hospitality logistics, and partner with People Operations, IT, and Finance to support onboarding and budget/invoice tracking.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure Sydney facilities and offices are well maintained, safe, clean, and welcoming by partnering with building management, local Workplace colleagues, and in-house IT.
•Support office expansions, reconfigurations, and new space requirements in collaboration with building management and cross-functional teams (IT, People, Finance, and business leaders).
•Build and execute a calendar of social, wellbeing, educational, and CSR events for the Sydney team with internal and local partners.
•Manage vendors and suppliers (cleaning staff, catering/events vendors, neighboring tenants) to maintain seamless day-to-day operations.
•Handle budget and invoice management for office-related spend, and support onboarding and workplace orientation with People Operations and IT.

Key Requirements

•Hands-on experience in a people-focused role such as workplace experience, office management, facilities, employee engagement, or hospitality/events management.
•Skilled at managing vendors to meet deadlines and stay within budget for office supplies, employee events, and space fit-out initiatives.
•Proactive problem solver who identifies issues early, improves the workplace, and follows through to implementation.
•Passion for bringing people together as a cultural touchpoint and friendly, approachable face of the office.
•Naturally collaborative with strong communication and stakeholder management skills; able to coordinate groups including senior leaders.
