Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide ongoing triage and validation services for Bugcrowd managed programs
  • •Curate submission data for validity, accuracy, and severity under the direction of the Director of Technical Operations
  • •Communicate with clients or researchers to request additional information when needed
  • •Handle incident response by escalating and communicating highest-severity bugs to clients
  • •Use security knowledge and scripting/development skills to support tooling for triage/validation improvements

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or previous security consulting experience
  • •Published passion for security assessment research
  • •High proficiency with Burp Suite (or other interception proxy) and working experience with tools like nmap, sqlmap, and Kali Linux tools
  • •Strong knowledge of OWASP Top Ten–type vulnerabilities
  • •Ability to manage individual projects on time while contributing to the team
