Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and improve automated and manual electronic assembly processes including insertion, soldering, cleaning, conformal coating, depaneling, inspection, and rework.
  • •Develop and maintain process specifications, equipment recipes, setup sheets, control plans, PFMEAs, work instructions, visual standards, and training materials.
  • •Support NPI builds and product transfers via DfM/DfA/DfT reviews, tooling readiness, process validation, capability studies, first-article activities, and production release.
  • •Use SPC, DOE, capability analysis, defect Pareto analysis, and structured root-cause methods to improve FPY, OEE, throughput, rework, scrap, and labor productivity.
  • •Troubleshoot manufacturing, material, design, programming, fixturing, soldering, test, inspection, and equipment issues; implement verified corrective and preventive actions.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience with direct responsibility for electronic assembly/PCBA processes in production environments.
  • •Hands-on knowledge of SMT and electronic assembly methods including soldering, inspection, test, automation, and defect analysis.
  • •Working knowledge of statistical process control, process capability, designed experiments, measurement systems, PFMEA, and structured problem solving.
  • •Experience developing manufacturing documentation and supporting NPI, process validation, equipment qualification, and engineering change control.
  • •Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment, communicate in English, and travel up to 25% including international travel when required.
