Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and run development costing operations and seasonal costing milestones across VF brands, products, and countries.
  • •Modernize and standardize costing approaches using data-driven, automated, efficient processes with sourcing teams and in-country manufacturing vendors.
  • •Lead vendor negotiations using fact-based costing methodologies and partner on vendor allocations with FOB and landed costing perspectives.
  • •Ensure governance by tracking and reporting costing metrics and adherence by costing operations teams and vendors.
  • •Drive process improvements by eliminating redundancies, automating repetitive tasks, and leading cross-functional initiatives and analyses.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 4 years of experience in industrial garment manufacturing, buying office, or trading company.
  • •Ability to understand technical specifications, Bill of Materials, and garment constructions.
  • •Knowledge of fabric weaving/constructions and dyeing processes (fabric dyeing) and embellishment techniques (e.g., print, embroidery, quilting).
  • •Experience in sweater knits and accessories is preferred.
  • •Strong negotiation, analytical/reasoning skills, and comfort with change, process redesign, or process reengineering.
