Job Summary

Maintain and troubleshoot Space42 ground station RF gateway systems to ensure reliable satellite communication. Monitor gateway performance, optimize signal coverage, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance, including emergency repairs. Coordinate installations, testing, and obsolescence management for RF components, support root-cause analysis with stakeholders, and manage site-wide support ground equipment (power/UPS/cooling/AC). Provide 24/7 operation support and coordinate with NOC, service providers, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide technical support to Space42 gateways and UBS for maintenance and troubleshooting.
•Ensure RF systems operational efficiency and 24/7 system availability by coordinating and executing technical operations.
•Conduct preventive maintenance and emergency/corrective maintenance for ground station systems.
•Support installation/construction and testing of new equipment or modifications to existing equipment.
•Coordinate maintenance/troubleshooting with NOCs, service providers, and contractors; support procurement and service level agreement-related activities.

•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Telecommunications.
•5-7 years of experience operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting RF/Broadcast/SATCOM systems, with at least 2 years on projects.
•Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and communication skills.
•Experience with corrective/preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and logging.
•Hands-on experience with local/remote baseband, IF and RF systems, antennas, and ground support equipment; familiarity with test and measurement tools and safety/PPE requirements.
