Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive, pay out cash, and handle negotiable items, loan payments, deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
  • •Set up, close, and balance the teller station; assist with balancing vault, ATM, night drop, and coin machine.
  • •Assist customers with inquiries in person or by telephone, and record sales of monetary instruments.
  • •Cross-sell bank products and services and follow limits for protection of customer accounts and bank safety and soundness.
  • •Lift coin bags up to 50 lbs and assist with document scanning and proof work; complete required BSA/AML and other compliance training as assigned.

Key Requirements

  • •Equivalent to four years of high school or GED (with office skills emphasis), plus 0 to 6 months related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • •Ability to communicate effectively with customers in person and by telephone, and respond to questions.
  • •Basic mathematical skills, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing numbers; ability to perform math using money and other measurements.
  • •Ability to use common sense to carry out simple multi-step instructions and deal with standardized situations with limited variables.
  • •Basic cash handling experience in a business environment; maintain a positive, friendly, professional attitude and appearance.
