Key Responsibilities

  • •Define the first version and future evolution of the service in collaboration with research, product management, product engineering, and design teams
  • •Design, build and deliver well-tested core pieces of the platform in collaboration with other vested parties
  • •Contribute to shaping architecture, code reviews and development practices, and improve developer experience as the product grows
  • •Mentor fellow engineers and assume ownership and accountability of projects
  • •Collaborate with teams across the company to enable deployment at scale of AI applications

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years experience building distributed systems or foundational cloud services at scale, with interest in Python, Go and Java
  • •Strong background in building core components for high-scale compute and data distributed systems
  • •Proven success designing, writing, testing, debugging, and performance tuning of distributed and highly concurrent software in large code bases
  • •Track record delivering complex projects in distributed systems or databases
  • •Experience leading 15-20 people projects involving distributed systems infrastructure from conception to delivery
