Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage month-end and quarter-end close in FloQast, including journal entry control logs, reconciliation sign-offs, and close checklists to improve close timeline and audit readiness.
  • •Own general ledger integrity in NetSuite, including review of journals, balance sheet reconciliations, and root-cause resolution of posting/configuration issues.
  • •Serve as named control owner and reviewer for financial reporting, GL, and close-cycle controls within SOX 404(b), including control narratives, IPE standards, and deficiency remediation.
  • •Act as day-to-day point of contact for Big 4 external auditor and consulting advisors, managing PBC requests and walkthrough/fieldwork support.
  • •Own monthly management reporting package, including flux analysis by functional area and cost-per-test economics, and lead GL/AP accountants across fixed assets, AP, and payroll.

Key Requirements

  • •8-10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years managing the close and leading a team of direct reports.
  • •CPA required with deep US GAAP fluency; Big 4 or national audit firm experience is a plus.
  • •Hands-on SOX 404(b) experience as a control owner, including control narratives, IPE requirements, and deficiency remediation.
  • •Strong NetSuite experience with ability to query the system (saved searches and ideally SuiteQL), plus FloQast, Expensify, and Workiva experience as pluses.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; advanced Excel and analytical skills.
