Job Summary

Transport ready mix concrete to construction projects, company facilities, and customers throughout industrial and residential areas using ready mix trucks. Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections, load/unload materials, monitor vehicle gauges, maintain mileage logs, and follow DOT and company safety procedures. Complete minor servicing and maintenance, keep the truck clean, and maintain reliable attendance while following dispatch instructions and applicable laws.

Key Responsibilities

•Transport ready mix concrete to construction projects, company facilities, and customers using ready mix trucks.
•Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections with required documentation in compliance with DOT guidelines.
•Load and unload materials, monitor vehicle gauges, and maintain daily vehicle mileage logs.
•Follow dispatch instructions, applicable laws, and company policies to maintain a safe working environment and deliver consistent product quality.
•Perform minor servicing and maintenance; refer major problems to the supervisor and keep the vehicle clean and orderly.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED.
•Minimum of 2 years experience driving a mixer truck (preferred).
•Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain CDL A or CDL B.
•Must pass DOT physical, drug screen, and criminal background check, and possess a valid DOT medical card.
•Ability to follow safety procedures and company policies, and work evenings/weekends and away from home when required.
