Job Summary

Own the customer interface for quality and reliability support of AMD Client APU/CPU products used on customers’ production lines. Drive differentiated quality experience across product introduction and volume ramp phases by representing customer requirements, resolving quality/reliability issues, coordinating cross-functional technical teams for containment and root cause, and providing customer-facing technical presentations and post-sales installation/maintenance expertise.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the customer interface for AMD Client APU/CPU product quality and reliability support.
•Serve as the key point of contact for product quality and post-sales support, accurately representing customer requirements within AMD.
•Interact with customer procurement, quality, and manufacturing contacts to resolve quality and reliability issues across qualification, ramp, and high-volume manufacturing.
•Provide on-site support at customer manufacturing, OSV lab, or customer engineering joint lab; support OSV deployment and validation updates.
•Program-manage cross-functional technical teams to identify containment and determine root cause for customer issues; escalate risks and deliver customer-facing technical presentations.

Key Requirements

•10+ years of experience in Semiconductor Platform, Product Engineering, or Customer Quality Engineering.
•Strong technical knowledge of computer products such as notebook and desktop systems.
•Fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English.
•Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence individuals and teams, plus effective presentation and negotiation skills.
•BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Materials Science, or a related field.
