Job Summary

Develop and execute the Property & Multinational risk strategy for the Italian market from Milan, reporting to the Property team. Ensure underwriting compliance with authority, pricing and rating guidelines, and steer the local portfolio to achieve financial targets. Liaise across functions to review the end-to-end underwriting lifecycle, support product development, and contribute to new business acquisition and retention, including agent/broker negotiations.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure underwriters comply with underwriting authority, pricing, and rating guidelines.
•Steer and control the property portfolio locally with the Head of Property to drive financial targets.
•Liaise with functional areas to review performance of the end-to-end underwriting life cycle.
•Work closely with Sales, Risk Consulting, Claims, and other product lines to achieve marketing strategies including cross-selling.
•Ensure underwriting consistency and discipline and adhere to corporate guidelines, authority levels, and local regulatory framework.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: EUR 34,435.23 annually

Key Requirements

•Master’s degree in Engineering, Economics, or Law (or equivalent).
•1–2 years’ proven experience underwriting profitable Property business for Corporate Clients (PD/BI and Theft).
•Preference for experience with Multinational clients and knowledge of Property.
•Expertise in risk assessment and a solid understanding of the policy administration life cycle.
•Strong communication skills, fluent English (written and spoken).
