As part of the founding London team, the People Operations Manager will build out UK People Operations, partner with UK management, and drive hiring strategy, payroll, benefits, and compliance to scale Lalamove in the UK market.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead hiring strategy and recruitment across all teams, building a strong pipeline and improving candidate experience
•Define organizational needs, post ads, manage the selection process, headhunt talent, and align hiring timelines with growth plans
•Communicate insights to senior management and ensure hiring plans match company growth
•Oversee day-to-day people operations including payroll, benefits, time off, contracts, and compliance manages
•Collaborate with People and Legal teams in Hong Kong on employment law matters and with other People teams on benefits and compensation programs

Key Requirements

•Undergraduate degree and a Master’s degree in HR or similar field preferred
•Minimum 8 years of HR experience in fast-paced, dynamic environments
•Strong knowledge of UK labour regulations, HR operations and local recruitment specifics
•Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
•Native or at least business-level proficiency in English
