Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the piping engineering discipline across projects, coordinating with department managers to develop and evaluate solutions for difficult problems.
  • •Contribute to proposals and design deliverables including calculations, lists, drawings, specifications, and other engineering documents.
  • •Produce drawings, calculations and engineering documentation adhering to codes and standards; supervise prepared specifications for purchased equipment.
  • •Coordinate with vendors and prepare technical evaluations of proposals; develop equipment performance specifications and technical reports.
  • •Oversee and review the work of junior and mid-level mechanical engineers and designers; communicate effectively with project management and customers; ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality output.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; Professional Engineer (P.E.) license and stamp is required in at least one state in USA with ability to acquire licenses in other states; up to date NCEES record
  • •7-10+ years of related engineering experience in an EPCM or similar company
  • •Knowledge of mechanical and piping engineering activities within a complete project
  • •Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to work effectively with customers and vendors
  • •Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and specialized software used for mechanical and piping engineering and design; knowledge of ASME/API codes
