Job Summary

Manage day-to-day service operations for installation, delivery, and deployment of technical resources within your assigned territory. Maintain a customer-focused environment by troubleshooting cabling and network infrastructure, documenting issue/action/outcome, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring timely resolution. Perform low-voltage cabling and fiber installs, install and test network assets (switches, routers, firewalls), complete MAC requests, handle Wi-Fi setup and maintenance, and support emergency after-hours incidents.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage day-to-day service operations of installations, delivery, and deployment of technical resources within your area of responsibility.
•Perform installation and service of low-voltage cabling and structured cabling systems; measure, install, and pull wires through conduits; diagnose and repair cabling infrastructure.
•Physically install, configure, and test network assets (e.g., switches, routers, firewalls) and install/swap devices as needed.
•Complete hard Move, Add Change (MAC) requests within defined service levels and provide hardware break-fix services for network infrastructure.
•Respond to emergency situations as needed and complete required documentation for work orders, SLAs, and billing/payroll time reporting.

Key Requirements

•Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle with ability to carry a 6-foot ladder.
•Must have a working smartphone to access company email and ticketing system.
•Must be proficient with cable testers and fiber testers and have experience working in communications closets.
•Must understand cable patching processes and cross-connect procedures (66 Block and 110 Block) and have basic data communications networking knowledge.
•5 years of experience in data communications and a high school diploma (or equivalent) required.
