Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the design and evolution of public APIs and SDKs, including versioning, deprecation, and backwards-compatibility promises
  • •Define and execute the end-to-end developer experience (auth, onboarding, first call, error handling, rate limiting, webhooks, and edge cases)
  • •Write code to build sample apps and run integrations, validating rough edges before customers encounter them
  • •Use support tickets and forum threads to identify recurring issues and turn them into product design improvements
  • •Set and defend success metrics (e.g., time-to-first-call, integration success rate, and API error rates) and lock API contracts before engineering builds
