Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the go-to counsel for VAS, Products, Marketing, CMS, and Sourcing matters in CEMEA.
  • •Advise business teams on solution structuring, legislative requirements, and approaches, and support regulatory assessments and country reviews.
  • •Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, and develop/manage regional templates and standard documents.
  • •Leverage AI tools daily to increase efficiency and optimize resources while streamlining and standardizing legal processes.
  • •Monitor regulatory developments, review publicly facing external materials, and coordinate outside counsel when required.

Key Requirements

  • •Law degree and a qualification that allows for in-house practice in the applicable jurisdiction.
  • •Minimum 5 years PQE with an international law firm or a multinational organization.
  • •Experience in payment industry and advertising is advantageous.
  • •Strong written and verbal English and solid core legal skills to integrate legal advice with business knowledge.
  • •Strong contract review and drafting skills, legal assessments, and the ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
