Key Responsibilities

  • •Become familiar with existing environment and processes and take ownership of patching volumes and vulnerability remediation activities.
  • •Develop and enhance Ansible playbooks and automation to standardize enterprise-wide patching and remediation.
  • •Maintain Ansible AWX job templates, roles, inventories, and workflows to automate patching and remediation at scale.
  • •Contribute to infrastructure reliability, security, resilience, and vulnerability management processes across an AWS-based estate.
  • •Gradually expand remit over time, growing beyond routine patch execution into broader foundation-team responsibilities.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise patching and vulnerability remediation.
  • •Must demonstrate real-life experience performing patching, vulnerability remediation, and infrastructure automation.
  • •Proficiency with Ansible and Ansible AWX to create and maintain playbooks and automation workflows.
  • •Experience with AWS and Terraform/Infrastructure-as-Code for infrastructure and automation.
  • •Working knowledge of Linux and/or Windows infrastructure, plus automation/scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and CI/CD.
