Job Summary

Lead and govern thermal processing safety across Kerry's regional manufacturing and R&D sites as the Thermal Process Authority. Oversee process reviews, certifications, and regulatory submissions; drive continuous improvement in food safety, provide technical guidance to factories and labs, and coordinate validations and microbiological studies. Represent Kerry in industry networks and support HACCP training and risk assessments.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure product safety and quality by conducting thermal process reviews and issuing process letters for aseptic, retort, acidified, low-acid, and formulation-controlled products.
•Act as the Process Authority, maintaining required certifications and overseeing process filings, regulatory submissions, and inquiries in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
•Lead process deviation investigations, recommend product disposition, and drive continuous improvement in food safety practices.
•Provide technical guidance and drive knowledge transfer to factory and R&D teams, including development and delivery of thermal processing standards and training.
•Coordinate temperature distribution studies, aseptic line validations, and microbiological challenge studies in partnership with external stakeholders.

Key Requirements

•Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline. 1-2 sentence summary not required here.
