Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide daily leadership, guidance, and coaching to a team of technicians specialized in diesel engines, drive systems, and ship propulsion.
  • •Plan, organize, and monitor work orders and technical assignments, coordinating onboard interventions for naval ships.
  • •Actively participate in maintenance, repair, and installation activities and join complex technical interventions.
  • •Ensure safe, high-quality, and efficient execution while monitoring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
  • •Track materials and tools needs and report work progress to the Workshop Manager.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma A2 motortechnieken (verbrandingsmotoren), mechanica, elektromechanica, or equivalent via experience.
  • •At least 2 years of relevant experience as an engine technician, focused on internal combustion engines in a technical environment.
  • •Experience assisting in leading or guiding employees is a plus.
  • •Strong knowledge of marine engines is a strong advantage.
  • •Able to read and interpret technical plans and schedules; strong technical knowledge and problem-solving ability.
