Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver guided land-based adventure activities following approved operating procedures and service standards.
  • •Conduct guest safety briefings and equipment demonstrations; supervise guests and adjust activities based on capability and conditions.
  • •Prepare, inspect, clean, and maintain adventure equipment; manage inventories, inspections, and report damaged or missing equipment.
  • •Deliver exceptional guest service by providing clear instructions, resolving minor concerns, and escalating complaints or operational issues as needed.
  • •Follow SOPs, Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), Emergency Response Plans (ERPs), and safety requirements; support incident documentation and comply with HSQE policies.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent; diploma in Outdoor Recreation, Sports, Tourism, Hospitality, or related discipline is preferred.
  • •Valid Wilderness First Aid or internationally recognised First Aid certification.
  • •Basic land navigation and GPS navigation experience.
  • •Leave No Trace certification is desirable.
  • •At least 2–3 years delivering outdoor adventure/recreation activities in tourism, hospitality, or sports operations; plus a recognised NGB certification in an adventure activity (e.g., climbing, mountain biking, archery, high ropes, quad biking).
