Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Review submissions and assist with data gathering and preparation for placements
  • •Support negotiations with insurers (lead and follow markets) and help prepare and present terms to clients and network partners
  • •Assist with firm order broking via PPL and email, and accurately record broking activity in market sheets and internal systems
  • •Review draft and final MRCs with support and prepare/send cover confirmations to clients and network offices
  • •Support benchmarking analyses, placement advice, client/insurer meeting follow-up, and routine accounting and claims (A/C) queries with escalation when needed

Key Requirements

  • •Some existing Financial Lines or Financial Institutions experience, or strong transferable insurance experience
  • •Technical insurance knowledge, ideally with a Financial Lines background
  • •Sound understanding of London insurance market dynamics and core processes
  • •Ability to use insurance industry IT systems to efficiently deliver client service
  • •Effective client relationship management and strong communication/presentation skills
