Job Summary

Lead the safe, efficient, and cost-controlled daily operations of a marine base supporting large EPCIC pipelay and SURF projects. Coordinate vessel and cargo movements, port calls, customs and immigration, and fuel/fresh-water provisioning. Oversee marine waste compliance (MARPOL), yard/warehouse operations, inventories, contractor performance, HSE requirements, and emergency response readiness—while partnering with project and vessel teams from the KL reporting line.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage daily operations of the marine base to support offshore operations.
•Coordinate vessel arrivals/departures/berthing and vessel importation/exportation with port, customs, immigration, and shipping agents.
•Oversee marine waste management and ensure compliance with HSE policies, local regulations, and environmental requirements (including MARPOL).
•Manage loading/offloading, onshore storage/preservation of equipment, and ensure inventory control, inspections, and readiness for dispatch.
•Lead safety culture, manage subcontractors, handle marine base budgeting/cost monitoring, and act as point of contact for emergency response and crisis management.

Key Requirements

•10+ years in oil and gas with Marine, Offshore, or Port Logistics experience.
•Strong knowledge of Brunei Darussalam local regulatory authorities and marine operations (preferred).
•Extensive experience managing vessel importation/exportation, crew immigration, and logistics.
•Knowledge of customs clearance, import/export logistics, and international shipping documentation.
•Experience coordinating vessel scheduling/berthing and cargo handling, including safe lifting practices and HSE management systems.
