Key Responsibilities

  • •Proactively identify accounting policy issues and develop practical solutions. Advise internal clients on appropriate accounting treatment, particularly with respect to accounting for new and complex products and transactions, across both GAAP and non-GAAP / metric reporting perspective.
  • •Provide structuring advice for new and complex products and transactions with emphasis on consolidation, financial instruments, revenue recognition, compensation and valuation.
  • •Lead cross-functional projects to design, and enhance and implement accounting policies, processes, and controls.
  • •Provide accounting and finance advice to deal teams and portfolio companies across all Blackstone businesses.
  • •Manage and develop a team of three; support talent development, hiring, and overall team planning.
