Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate forklift as directed and without supervision while following safety policies and procedures.
  • •Read job specifications to determine operator adjustments and material requirements.
  • •Position and move loads using lifting devices and unload/stack materials.
  • •Hook tow trucks to trailer hitch as needed and transport loads to designated areas.
  • •Perform routine maintenance (battery recharging, lubricating, fueling, cleaning) and maintain organized housekeeping while recording weights and inventory.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma/equivalent and at least two years of related trades experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • •Able to pass an internal certification program.
  • •Ability to operate forklift controls (move levers, shift gears, depress pedals, maneuver steering wheel).
  • •Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • •Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods; able to work a flexible schedule.
