Lead and mentor civil infrastructure development projects out of Cambridge, directing design teams, securing new work, and driving technical innovation across the Development discipline while ensuring quality, budget, and schedule compliance.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide strategic direction and highly visible leadership for the Development Team.
•Mentor and coach mid-career professionals in client management, project management and leadership roles.
•Lead development projects and secure new work streams by engaging with local networks and key accounts.
•Coordinate across the Development discipline and promote technical innovation and best practices with the Technical Leadership Group.
•Oversee bids, reviews, and submissions, adding value both commercially and technically while ensuring SHEQ compliance.

Key Requirements

•A BEng / BSc (Hon) in Civil Engineering or other relevant qualification with experience in managing development projects.
•Excellent inter-personal skills with strong leadership and management abilities able to communicate effectively with all parts of the business.
•Strong commercial and strategic capability with a track record of identifying and delivering new business opportunities.
•Expert stakeholder management and related relationship and team management skills.
•Ability to motivate, drive change, coach others, and act as a catalyst for change within a multidisciplinary team.
