Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor network performance and lead advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis, including post-mortem reviews.
  • •Execute network changes across datacenters, backbone, and edge infrastructure to implement next-generation designs and improve reliability.
  • •Manage and optimize immediate needs versus long-term goals across the Crusoe network, including frontend, backend, backbone, edge, and public cloud connectivity.
  • •Lead operational excellence initiatives by building monitoring and alerting systems to ensure high network availability.
  • •Provide 24/7 on-call support and mentor network engineers on incident response, documentation, and operational readiness.

Key Requirements

  • •10 years of experience operating networks at scale in a production environment.
  • •Strong knowledge of network protocols including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF/IS-IS, EVPN, VXLAN, QoS, and MPLS-related technologies.
  • •Strong understanding of network monitoring protocols and tools such as SNMP, IPFIX, sFlow/netflow, and telemetry.
  • •Experience with scripting/coding (Python or similar) to automate operational tasks and build tooling.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience based on three or more years of work experience.
