Job Summary

Grow and retain profitable commercial client relationships by delivering value-added lending solutions. Independently manage client outreach and business development through calls, referrals, cross-selling, and networking events. Handle credit process management, including loan structuring, credit analysis, and closing a range of commercial and real estate loans. Contribute to deposit growth by promoting additional banking products and mitigate risk while building long-term franchise value.

Key Responsibilities

•Solicit commercial clients and aggressively obtain new business through calls, referrals, and cross-selling efforts.
•Obtain and maintain COIs and attend networking events in the assigned geographic area.
•Structure loans and perform credit analysis to support the lending process.
•Generate commercial and real estate loans and close loans typically in the $1 million to $10 million range.
•Contribute to deposit growth by cross-selling and promoting additional banking products; perform other assigned duties.

Key Requirements

•Typically, a minimum of seven years direct lending or credit support related experience focused on business relationships.
•Formally credit trained and/or underwriting knowledge and experience is preferred.
•Bachelor’s degree in banking, finance or another related field (preferred).
•Familiarity with the sales, loan processing, and closing processes.
•Extensive knowledge of Commercial Banking products, including working knowledge of C&I plus Owner-Occupied and Investment Commercial Real Estate loans.
