Job Summary

Senior Technician Apparel China oversees sealing and size set approvals, final measurement chart approvals before bulk production, and reviews development at source technical packs. You will support product development with feedback on pack accuracy, prepare seasonal sample evaluation data, and travel to FE factories to monitor sampling progress, collaborating closely with the Technical Manager and factories.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Manage sealing and size set approval for fit, measurement and workmanship within the development and OPD calendar time frame
•Manage Final Measurement chart approval before bulk production
•Review development at source Technical Packs for accuracy & completeness prior to distribution
•Provide feedback on Technical pack accuracy / completeness & enhancements to product developers
•Prepare sample evaluation data on a seasonal basis

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Graduate in Textiles/Clothing or Technical Institute is preferable
•3–8 years relevant experience in Active wear or Performance Sportswear with focus on Knit items and jackets (seam-seal, laminated, down, padded)
•Paper pattern background is a must and knowledge on CAD is an advantage
•Good communication in English and Putonghua with customers and factory personnel
•Hand-on computer knowledge and MS Office/ Lotus Notes, willing to travel
