Job Summary

Provide financial costing and business partnering for the CVD organization, owning standard costing processes for Oregon and California and supporting scenario-based planning, budgeting, forecasting, and 5-year plans. Lead variance analysis across sites, reconcile inventory and general ledger balances, and prepare consolidated CVD variance summaries and reporting packs. Use Power BI and AI-enabled tools to improve analysis, automate reporting, and support decision-making, including R&D Tax Credit submissions.

Key Responsibilities

•Own and maintain Oregon and California standard costing processes, including manufactured product standards, purchased material costs, routing and work center rates, and costing assumptions.
•Lead budgeting, forecasting, and 5-year planning for CVD Operations, including forecast cycles and scenario assumptions for activity, cost, headcount, inventory, recoveries, and capital expenditure.
•Perform weekly and monthly variance analysis and manufacturing cost reporting, ensuring drivers are understood and corrective actions are agreed.
•Maintain accurate inventory and GL integrity by updating AAIs, reconciling finished goods/raw materials/WIP to the general ledger, and preparing journal entries for variances and revaluations.
•Use Power BI and AI-enabled digital tools to automate/streamline reporting and support consolidated CVD performance insight, including R&D Tax Credit claim preparation and submission.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; Certified Management Accountant preferred.
•Relevant experience in manufacturing finance, product costing, cost accounting, budgeting/forecasting, financial planning, variance analysis, or finance business partnering.
•Strong understanding of standard costing and weighted average costing, including manufacturing variances, recoveries, inventory accounting, and cost absorption.
•Experience preparing annual budgets, forecast cycles, financial scenarios, cost models, and multi-site 5-year plans for manufacturing/operational environments.
•Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with JD Edwards or similar ERP; strong analytical and financial modeling skills, including using Power BI and AI-enabled tools with data validation and confidentiality controls.
