Job Summary

Support and enhance automation software and infrastructure in a US-based microelectronics factory. You’ll sustain custom Ignition- and PLC-driven applications, integrate sensors and robotics, and produce data visualizations to improve manufacturing efficiency. Collaborate across operations to advance digital automation, data extraction, and factory-wide technology strategy in a hands-on, onsite role.

Key Responsibilities

•Collaborate across functions to support Operations Technology needs, including microelectronic assembly equipment, robotics connectivity, software tools, data migration, and software dependencies.
•Sustain and enhance custom applications (built on Ignition) and commercial software applications.
•Data extraction and processing to produce meaningful visualizations and metrics for microelectronic assembly equipment.
•Contribute to the overall manufacturing technology strategy for the factory.
•Support and improve automation software and infrastructure that supports factory operations.

Salary: USD 68,900 - 131,100 annually

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a STEM degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
•Experience in software development using Ignition, SQL, Python, C#, LabVIEW .NET, HTML5.
•Experience diagnosing hardware and network-related issues effectively.
•Nice-to-have: Azure DevOps or other DevOps platforms.
•Proficiency with version control (Git) and industrial communication protocols (Modbus/TCP, MQTT, Ethernet IP, RESTful APIs, SECS/GEM).
