Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and build cloud systems that host ingestion pipelines, storage, and tooling for vehicle telemetry.
  • •Normalize telemetry data across flight controllers, vehicle management systems, mission systems, and sensor payloads.
  • •Expose telemetry data to downstream first- and third-party analysis tools.
  • •Build infrastructure to support both large-scale batch ingestion of recorded telemetry and low-latency streaming.
  • •Develop cloud-native systems that are edge-compatible for offline/air-gapped settings, including fielding data systems to classified environments.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 191,000 - 253,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Experience with modern lakehouse architectures (Iceberg, Delta Lake), ETL systems (Flyte, Dagster, Airflow, Argo Workflows), and distributed data processing engines (Spark, Trino, etc.).
  • •Experience developing and operating high-throughput streaming data pipelines using systems like Spark Streaming, Flink, and Kafka.
  • •Strong proficiency in Python, Java, Rust, and/or Go, with Python and Rust used for core backend services and pipelines.
  • •Experience building and operating cloud systems, including Docker, Kubernetes, and GitOps tooling such as FluxCD or ArgoCD.
  • •U.S. Person status is required to access export controlled data; eligibility to obtain/maintain a US Top Secret clearance is desirable.
