Job Summary

Supervise and coordinate workers producing ready-mix concrete, hot-mix asphalt, and/or mining aggregates. Lead daily plant operations to ensure safety, quality control, delivery of materials, and compliance with city/state/federal regulations (including Hours of Service). Manage employees through hiring/training, performance appraisals, discipline, and succession planning, while partnering with Quality Control and maintaining production, safety, compliance, payroll, and inventory documentation.','locations':[

Key Responsibilities

•Supervise and communicate with Area Managers and the Operations Manager on personnel, safety, maintenance, production efficiency, product quality, and projects.
•Manage plant/location operations in line with company policies and employment laws, including training, planning/assigning/directing work, performance appraisals, and succession planning.
•Ensure compliance with city, state, and federal regulations, including Hours of Service.
•Work with the Quality Control Department to ensure products meet production and project specifications.
•Conduct weekly safety meetings and complete safety/production/compliance reporting, payroll submission, and inventory/documentation tasks.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED plus 1–2 years related experience or training (or equivalent).
•Experience operating asphalt, aggregate, or ready-mixed concrete facilities.
•Experience using TrackIt, Video Driving Review Software, Command, or similar software.
•Must be at least 18 years old, pass drug screen and criminal background check, and maintain a valid driver’s license.
•Must demonstrate ability to read and interpret documents, communicate professionally, and adapt to changing conditions.
