Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage the PET engineering team supporting fabrication and assembly timelines for composite fuselages, unyieldingly prioritizing product safety.
  • •Provide engineering support for production line nonconformities by managing concessions and developing rework solutions.
  • •Track operational KPIs and implement corrective action plans to close performance gaps.
  • •Create, validate, and approve engineering corrections (modifications, drawing updates, design queries) and authorize temporary aircraft configurations (Special Instructions).
  • •Exercise engineering delegation to ensure compliance with aircraft safety and airworthiness standards; release standard repairs and troubleshoot, and interface with Design Office, Chief Engineering, customers, and EASA/FAA.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in aerospace, mechanical, or electrical engineering (or equivalent education and experience).
  • •20+ years of aerospace engineering experience focused on design, analysis, and certification of aircraft systems and structures.
  • •At least 5 years of leadership and management experience in engineering.
  • •Proven ability to understand and manage internal and external customer expectations through listening, questioning, and constructive challenge.
  • •Ability to advise top management and communicate effectively to ensure product safety.
