Key Responsibilities

  • •Design detailed electrical systems and specifications for installation of power distribution, switchgear, MCCs, lighting, grounding, UPS units, generators, automatic transfer switches, power monitoring hardware, and related controls
  • •Troubleshoot existing electrical equipment, switchgear, and controllers
  • •Support design, operation, and troubleshooting of facility electrical components, including load flow analysis, equipment evaluation, and grounding
  • •Ensure interfaces with mechanical and electrical systems align with facility power budgets
  • •Coordinate electrical installations and maintenance with Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral Air Force Station personnel

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or other engineering discipline
  • •1+ years of professional experience in design, build, or commissioning of electrical systems (internship experience qualifies)
  • •3+ years of professional experience in power distribution systems, switchgear, UPSs, and generators
  • •Ability to read and understand power and control schematics
  • •Ability to read and understand highly technical equipment operation and maintenance manuals
