Job Summary

Senior Civil & Structural Engineer focused on energy sector projects (substations, transmission and distribution). You will develop cost-effective civil/structural solutions, create 3D models and drawings using Revit, AutoCAD, Robot and related tools, manage feasibility through FEED and detailed design, coordinate with vendors, and contribute to multi-disciplinary bids across onshore/offshore wind, solar and BESS projects.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop cost-effective civil & structural solutions for complex projects in the energy sector, coordinating with UK/Global teams and clients.
•Create 3D models and detailed drawings (structural design, foundation envelopes, pipe supports) and support plant layouts and 3D models.
•Lead/participate in feasibility studies, FEED studies and detailed design, including site work during construction and commissioning.
•Collaborate with equipment vendors and perform technical evaluations of vendor designs.
•Prepare technical calculations and drawings for EHV projects (11kV to 400kV), ensuring adherence to tender specifications and budgets.

Key Requirements

•Degree in relevant Engineering subject.
•Working towards chartered status of relevant Engineering Institute.
•Solid experience in Civil & Structural detailed design.
•Experience of working with clients and contractors with a diverse range of objectives in achieving a technical solution.
•Have a minimum of eight years and above of experience in the field of Substation Transmission & Distribution, Renewable (Onshore & Offshore wind/ Solar), BESS projects, Thermal projects
