Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and own the multi-year technology strategy and roadmap for the insurance data and AI technology stack, including data platform/lakehouse architecture, governance and quality, master/reference data, MLOps, and generative AI tooling.
  • •Drive prioritization and portfolio governance across near-term needs (e.g., data quality remediation and model retraining cycles) and long-term modernization aligned to leadership vision.
  • •Partner with data and business teams (Data Operations, Actuarial, Underwriting Analytics, Model Risk Management, and stewards) to translate requirements into scalable solutions across the insurance data-to-insight lifecycle.
  • •Lead a team of product managers and delivery leads, setting standards for discovery, requirements management, delivery cadence, and adoption for the portfolio.
  • •Ensure responsible adoption and compliance of AI-enabled capabilities, collaborating with Legal, Compliance, Information Security, and Model Risk Management to operationalize controls and governance.

Key Requirements

  • •12+ years leading insurance data/AI or technology transformation programs, ideally in life insurance or reinsurance environments.
  • •Proven experience building and leading product and delivery teams and delivering enterprise insurance data/AI programs at scale across geographies.
  • •Deep understanding of the end-to-end insurance data-to-insight lifecycle, including policy, investments, actuarial data platform architecture, data governance/quality, and MLOps/generative AI enablement.
  • •Hands-on familiarity with insurance data/AI tooling such as Snowflake/Databricks/Fabric; Collibra/Alation; MLflow/SageMaker/Vertex AI; Azure OpenAI/Bedrock; and BI tools (Power BI/Tableau/Sigma).
  • •Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR/CCPA), model risk management, and emerging AI governance expectations for insurance data and AI use.
