Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist patients and families in transforming maladaptive eating patterns into a healthy relationship with food through ongoing support.
  • •Develop individualized treatment plans including nutrition assessments, meal plan prescription, and target weight range assessment via telehealth.
  • •Guide exposure to fear/challenge foods and provide nutrition education to address irrational thoughts and beliefs related to food, weight, and shape.
  • •Communicate meal plans and nutrition-related concerns clearly to the treatment team and provide education for resolving concerns.
  • •Maintain thorough documentation in the electronic medical record and update treatment plans weekly with patient progress and nutrition directives, including discharge planning support.

Key Requirements

  • •Must have an active license in Missouri.
  • •Licensed RDN required; eating disorder experience is preferred.
  • •Minimum of a bachelor's degree or college and course work accredited or approved by ACEND.
  • •Manage a caseload of up to 80 patients, with each patient receiving care for up to 52 weeks.
  • •Strong communication/collaboration skills and experience working on interdisciplinary teams.
